Doit Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Doit collects, uses, and protects information when people use Doit to track prices, receive alerts, and manage trackers.

What Doit does

Doit is an AI price tracker. Users tell Doit what they want to track, provide one or more email addresses, and Doit monitors prices or availability on the web. Doit sends emails when a tracker is created, when prices change, when a tracker needs attention, or when a user asks to manage their trackers.

Information we collect

Information users provide includes:

• Email address and shared recipient email addresses
• Tracker requests, URLs, target prices, and cadence preferences
• Account preferences, billing plan selection, and support messages

Doit also creates records to run the service: trackers, price observations and history, alert history, sources checked, agent-generated summaries, link metadata, and subscription status.

During background tracking, Doit's agent collects current and previous prices, availability and listing status, product details, source URLs, and confidence or failure reasons. Doit does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information from third-party websites.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Doit does not store full credit card numbers; it stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan status needed to manage your subscription.

How we use information

• Create, run, and manage trackers and send tracker emails
• Let shared recipients receive updates and manage their preferences
• Provide dashboard access and process paid subscriptions
• Enforce plan limits, improve reliability, and provide support
• Prevent abuse and monitor performance and security

Doit does not sell personal information.

Shared recipients

When someone adds you to a tracker, Doit stores your email and tells you who invited you and what is being tracked. You can accept the invitation or unsubscribe from that tracker without blocking other Doit emails.

Emails and magic links

Email is a core part of the product: confirmations, price alerts, expiration notices, magic links, manage links, and billing messages. Manage and magic links are time-limited; if a link expires you can request a fresh one sent to the same email address.

AI and agent processing

Doit uses AI models and browsing tools to understand tracker requests, search the web, check prices, and summarize findings. Tracker prompts, URLs, and relevant context may be sent to AI model and browser infrastructure providers to deliver the service. The agent's access is limited to price tracking: it never makes purchases, enters payment information, or creates third-party accounts.

Service providers

Doit relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, email delivery, payments, AI models, browser infrastructure, analytics, and support. These providers process information on Doit's behalf to deliver the service.

Data retention

Doit keeps information for as long as needed to provide the service: active tracker data while a tracker runs, price history according to your plan, alert history to show what was sent, and billing records as required for accounting. Cancelled trackers may be retained briefly for support and abuse prevention.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from tracker emails, or pause and cancel trackers
• Manage tracker recipients and request fresh login or manage links
• Manage billing if subscribed
• Request deletion of your account or tracker data

Security

Doit uses reasonable safeguards including time-limited links, access controls, encrypted connections, rate limiting, and separation between product data and the agent runtime. No service can guarantee perfect security.

Children's privacy

Doit is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International users

Doit is operated from the United States and may process information in the United States or other countries where service providers operate.

Changes and contact
